I think we as Swifties need to move on from the concept of every new Taylor album bringing us a new sound or genre. Homegirl has proven she can do whatever sound she damn well wants, but we shouldn’t expect that her albums will always be super sonically different. Midnights was the first example of how she can release an album that sounds fresh but doesn’t break sonic barriers from her previous work. Relieve the pressure on this woman. Let legends be legends.
usually when I say I “don’t like” a Taylor song it just means that it’s low on my list but I don’t rank Taylor against other artists I listen to so I probably still like a Taylor song I “don’t like” more than most other music. Because I’m insane
